For a competitions, 2 trophies will be awarded if there are at least 8 actual participants, otherwise 1 trophy will be awarded. The winner runner-up have their name entered into the Society's Hall of Honor and Glory

It is expected that we can only complete part of the competitions before the AGM and all competitions be finished before the end of 2010.

Frankie (Chelsea) Li, our Fantasy, Sci-Fi and FOW Miniatures Coordinator will be responsible for organising the Flames of Wars competiton.

Rules for Flames of War Competition at HKSW:

Date : 2nd meeting in May Meeting (22 May 2010)

Time : it will be straight Knock-out under 8 players join (it may change to Swiss system if necessary)
Players will be expected to behave like honest adults. You may check each other's Army lists if you so wish.
750 point Armies may be picked from The Flames of War (Mid-War) Afrika & Ostfront Army books.
Each army will be allowed to have any Command, Core& Support Platoon as per the Army list of the player's choosing. (No Air Support will be allowed).
Please prepare and bring your army lists to the meeting. (Please no last minute Army List writing).
Table size is 4' x 4'.
Time will be called after 1 hour or up to the Turn limit as per the Scenario.
The first round of games will use the "Meeting engagement" Scenario from the Flames of War Rulebook.

All teams may use the 'Guns over the Volga' rule for their artillery if they so choose, all teams will have their nation's special rules available to them where the Army list allows. Please let me know if I've left anything out:
