24. Board Game: Kingsburg
"While in Beijing, I went here twice. The first time I played a prototype by a Chinese guy, sharing elements with Kingsburg and Princes of Florence. There was a basic "dice distribution" mechanism in the game which was really nice, and also some nice ideas about balancing of buildings of different colors with asymmetric powers. However, the game played too slowly (we spent almost 4 hours) and it felt like it should have taken about half the time it did to be enjoyable."
