规则这个东西只要一起玩的人可以接受就行了，凭什么你就认为自己是对的别 ...

取而用之(Use What You Take)
从另外一名玩家手里随机抽一张牌并打出来。
Take a card at random from another player's hand, and play it.
抽税(Taxation)
每位玩家必须选择1张手牌交给你。
Each player must choose 1 card from his or her hand and give it to you.
显然take a card AT RANDOM和choose是不一样的。
再举一个例子，富饶之城(Citadel)的规则里面有这么两句

At the beginning of each round, the role cards will be shuffled together and a number of them will be randomly removed from play
和

如果你对富饶之城有所了解的话，选角色的过程也是抽牌传牌的过程，而且是暗着选的。这个choose便有“在知道是什么的前提下选择，但是不让别人看到”的含义，与randomly remove不同——后者是所有人都不知道的。
总而言之，很多游戏的规则里都涉及到了任意选（明选，暗选）和随机选两种方式，而所有随机选都会有“random”这个词。而这里只是说choose，没有说random，便应该是看了抽了。
