「卡洛克冲突」包含来自于「黑暗森林的闇影﹝Shadows of Mirkwood ﹞」循环的六十张固定牌，加进英雄们搜索「咕噜」的路途中。其中，将有一位新的英雄将会加入这个任务、九张新的﹝含四个「灵魂球」﹞的玩家牌各三份、一组新的「遭遇牌」堆、与「卡洛克冲突」任务牌等。玩家在找寻「郁比翁」时，必须小心行走，否则有可能最后发现自己被倒吊着捆绑住、准备成为山巨人的晚餐的命运。
