My name is Daniele, someone know from hearsay while others do not know me at all. Briefly ... I'm a fan of board games like you, and i’m trying to bring with Plan Play some board games in China. Sorry for my poor english and if i don’t write in chinese.
I am writing to give you some information about the publication of Letters from Whitechapel.
The Logo: I sent 5 font type for the logo (chosen from a chinese graphic), but none of these makes it like the old logo in English. The problem are: primarily in the font of the English version is horrible too. Second the publisher is not the same of the old version so is changed the logo and graphic designer. For aficionados there will be no peace even for the new English version. But I assure you that everything is of the highest quality. An alternative would be to leave the original name and to write the name in Chinese small under the logo.
Material quality: The quality should be absolutely identical, the manufacturer is the same as the previous version.
Changes: The transparent plastic markers now are: Yellow-red-blue. The woman, patrol and Time of crime now are in wood.
Release Date: The Main Editor tell me that the game will be ready in October, the delay is due to delay of other languages editions. (We were the first to do our duty)
Chinese version: The english version was not directly from the main publisher so the retail price was too excpencive. Furthermore, in case of illegal copies with the chinese edition we can legally act on those who sell it.
Tips and suggestions are well accepted. Also ... constructive criticism.
