Modeling the multi-user multi-modal interaction tries to understand essential characteristics of the new interaction style of which multiple users can interact with multiple modality over multiple devices at the same time. The model should describe the static and dynamic relationships between users, input devices, and output devices, along with the data stream between them. Specifically, it should clarify which input devices are used by a user, which output devices are convenient for the same user, how input data is fused, how output data is de-fused and delivered to devices, etc.
